Federal College of Chemical and Leather Technology (NILEST) The Nigerian Institute of Leather and Science Technology, Samara, Zaria was established in 1964 following the request of the then Northern Regional Government to Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Natural Resource. It was name Hides and Skin Demonstration and Training Project.
