Daniel decides to continue his studies in determination to do everything possible to stay out of trouble regardless of what the cost may be. Daniel is a tall handsome good looking young guy (every ladies’ dream man), aside from the qualities of good looking and presentable gestures in him, he is intelligent, brilliant, smart, gentle, humble, and down to earth.

Based on a personal revolution to turn a new leave, he made the church his second home after the classroom. He was committed to his studies and church activities, especially in the area of evangelism, he was well known by students on and off-campus, and his message was a simple one “our well being depends on the peace we strive to maintain” Daniel’s message leaves no condemnation, but a reflection on the human soul with a critical question of “what is the true worth of living?” He increased in wisdom while tackling difficult situations facing the students against immoral acts. There was no question he found difficult to address, and his suggestion was not just appreciated but was obeyed by many. Gradually the campus became a holy place to live in, love and unity grow beyond comprehension among students, staff, and management via his teachings.

Few weeks to the second-semester examination, in preparation for his forthcoming examination he withdrew from most of the church activities except major services, during this period he spent more of his time studying and only a few close friends get his attention.

On Thursday evening he received a call on his way to church, throughout the conversation on the phone he did not respond nor make any funny gesture to create suspense

Early Friday morning there was a piece of breaking news spreading like wide fire across the campus and neighborhood towns around the university premises, immediately it was confirmed to be true by the school authority all activities and operation were put on hold as if it was controlled by a pressed button.

According to the report, a young man by name Daniel was found full of blood with an unknown person lying lifeless on the floor beside him in Sis Blessing’s sitting room. Sis Blessing is the president of a joint campus fellowship, she is an influential personality with good attributes attested by the majority of the students, management, and neighboring towns. She is well respected and no one has been able to doubt her confession as a born again Christian. She is loved and adored by many. Starting from her year one she has been known with the gift of prophecy, and her words were accurate, she is been consulted for spiritual matters by many, she is Christ-like with double grace as that of Apostle Paul in the Holy Scripture.

It was a shocking one for the police officers, security personnel, students, management, and friends. (Daniel is loved, adored and cherished by many). Sis Blessing’s house was surrounded by the students and many others. There was a long silence, confusion, and speechlessness by all persons gathered in her apartment. Daniel remained speechless to all questions directed to him.

The situation was a complicated one, as it was confirmed that he was in church for the early morning devotion meeting between the hours of 5 am-6:30 am. Moreover, the distance from the church to sis Blessing’s house is 1hour: 40mins by cab and 40-50mins by bike (motorcycle), and the incident was claimed to have taken place at exactly 7 am. Before the discovery of the incident, sis Blessing said she held a vigil in her compound and after the vigil, there was a long meeting in her sitting room (exactly the spot of the incident) with her exco’s and the meeting lasted till about 6:50 am when she decided to see them (her excos) off. She said it was a great shock seeing Daniel at the place of the incident. According to her, she called him around 5 am to remind him not to be late for the meeting and to keep to time while taking the exhortation message, but Daniel’s line was switched off (though it’s his principle to put-off his telephone while in church), after a while, she reached out to sis Dayo who told her that he was already on pulpit leading the opening prayer.

Some persons in the security unit, neighboring towns, and about 99.9% of the students confirmed that they had earlier listen to his live sermon the same morning of the incident, and it was told that he ended his teaching at exactly 7 am on the dot.

The incident was claimed to have taken place at exactly 7 am, and based on the information gathered there was no way he could have gotten to the spot, also there was no wound or cut on the corpse, no bloodstain as well no trace pointing to any used object on the corpse, this makes the matter more complicated as no one could explain what had happened. Hmmmmm……………..
